WPIAL Realignment Brings Changes in Soccer

In December, the PIAA announced realignment that would see expansion of classifications in many sports, including boys and girls soccer, which will go from three to four classifications.
This week the WPIAL announced the new section alignments for both boys and girls soccer which will now consist of four classifications (AAAA, AAA, AA and A) each made up of four sections, except for Girls Class AA, which will have three sections.
This should provide for a playoff bracket with 16 teams in seven of the eight classifications, with four teams from each section qualifying for the playoffs, again, with the exception of Girls Class AA.
Here are the links to the full alignments or boys and girls:

By all indications, the WPIAL finals will return to Highmark Stadium, but with eight title games, they may have to add another day (Sunday?) or switch to an alternate location for some finals.
