Boys & Girls #WPIAL Soccer Semifinal Scoreboard #RoadToHighmark

With both boys and girls games going on Saturday to decide who will make it to Highmark Stadium to play in the WPIAL soccer finals — there’s a lot of scores coming in.   Here’s our latest scoreboard along with various tweets with the game results.  I’ll keep updating until the final games are over.
Don’t forget, these are not the last games for the teams, except in Girls 2A (where there are only 2 spots up for PIAA tournament).  All of the other losing teams will play on Wednesday in PIAA Qualifiers/WPIAL 3rd Place games.
What tournament for northern area teams.   Both boys teams in 4A advanced, Mars is in 3A and North Catholic knocks off perennial finalist, Seton LaSalle.
On a bit of a personal note — it was surreal to see two programs that I was involved with coaching in the past decade — North Catholic and Shady Side Academy — have reached the WPIAL Finals.  SSA had been knocking on the door for many years, but at North Catholic, soccer was an afterthought for many years, have made it to the finals with a young team only a few years after its move to a new campus near Cranberry.
