On To States… #PIAA Soccer Playoffs Kickoff Tuesday

Freedom girls will kickoff PIAA action on Tuesday against Mercyhurst Prep at Fox Chapel  at 6 p.m. 


All first-round games will be played Tuesday, November 8 — as sites and times are still yet to be determined.  Games listed below are only those involving WPIAL teams.  CLICK HERE to access the PIAA Soccer Championships Brackets for all Boys and Girls Classifications or click the links below for each individual bracket .

The PIAA playoffs will begin on Tuesday, November 8 and conclude with Finals on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 18-19 in Hershey, PA.

John Krysinsky has covered soccer and other sports for many years for various publications and media outlets including Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, DK Pittsburgh Sports, Pittsburgh Sports Report, and more. Krysinsky also served as the Head Men’s Soccer Coach at his alma mater, Point Park University, where he led the Pioneers to the first-ever winning seasons and playoff berths (1996-98); head coach of North Catholic boys (2007-08), associate head coach of Shady Side Academy boys (2009-2014).
