Parkes, Hounds Working To Find Right Fit …In Hurry

Before I traveled to the Louisville area this week, I had a chance to catch up with Romeo Parkes along with Pittsburgh Riverhounds coach Dave Brandt after the team’s second training session of the week — after the team’s four day layoff.
PARKES

In this story, I take a deeper look at Parkes’ return and how will fit into the grand scheme of things as Brandt is still trying to figure out how his line-up will look now that he has added the Jamaican forward.

Here’s my story filed on DK Pittsburgh Sports – HOUNDS, PARKES WORK TO FIND RIGHT FIT IN A HURRY.

DK
The Hounds (3-3-2, 11 points) will resume league play on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Ottawa.
I’ll have a brief preview either late Friday/early Saturday.
While the local amateur side Tartan Devils pulled off an exhilarating win last night in the Louisville suburbs, and will be taking on Louisville City FC on Wednesday, May 17 at Highmark Stadium in the 2nd round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, the Hounds still do not know its opponent as the Grand Rapids-Chicago (NPSL) game was post-poned due to field/weather related problems.   The Hounds would play its game on the road against one of those sides on Wednesday.
