Here’s my latest update regarding the Riverhounds goalkeeper situation after Trey Mitchell was injured in pregame warm-ups, and Keasel Broome, who filled in to help post a shutout of Tampa Bay Rowdies on Thursday, will be away on international call-up for his home country Barbados for the next game at home on July 4 vs Charlotte.
Mitchell is hoping to be ready, even if he dresses, Hounds coach Dave Brandt is down to one signed keeper on his roster. The Hounds have yet to announce what they will be doing to fill in this short-term keeper shortage, but I take a look at some of their options.
