Introducing Pittsburgh Sports Live

We’re extremely excited to share an announcement concerning our future along with our partners from Pittsburgh Sports Now and Pittsburgh Hockey Now.

Starting on September 4, we will officially be launching a YouTube broadcasting channel and website, Pittsburgh Sports Live.

After purchasing office space in downtown Pittsburgh, the studio is currently being renovated and will be ready to be broadcast from next week.

So, what is Pittsburgh Sports Live and what will you be getting from it?

The idea of PSL was put together by Dan Kingerski and Joe Steigerwald and will provide viewers with a new kind of video sports content not currently found anywhere in the Pittsburgh market.

The PSL team features Dan Kingerski, Alan Saunders, Mike Asti, Mike Vukovcan, John Krysinsky and Doug Biega; and more more names will be announced in the near future.

Our initial programming lineup will feature weekly shows running the entire gamut of Pittsburgh sports: Dan Kingerski on hockey, Mike Asti on Pittsburgh sports, Alan Saunders on Pitt athletics, Mike Vukovcan on Pittsburgh sports, John Krysinsky on soccer, and Doug Biega on basketball.

You can also expect a plethora of sports topic videos, pregame and post game shows, breaking news and much more; live from the field and in-studio.

Check out our introduction video below and subscribe to our YouTube page and follow us on Twitter.

We have plenty of advertising opportunities for this exciting new addition to the Pittsburgh sports scene.

If you’re a business that would like to get involved with Pittsburgh Sports Live by running commercials, sponsoring specific shows or being a title sponsor, please reach out to Mike Vukovcan at mvukovcan@gmail.com.

Pittsburgh Sports Live will be providing you with sports news like it should be done in 2018 not like it’s 1998.

John Krysinsky has covered soccer and other sports for many years for various publications and media outlets. He is also author of 'Miracle on the Mon' -- a book about the Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC, which chronicles the club, particularly the early years of Highmark Stadium with the narrative leading up to and centered around a remarkable match that helped provide a spark for the franchise. John has covered sports for Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, DK Pittsburgh Sports, Pittsburgh Sports Report, has served as color commentator on Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC broadcasts, and worked with OPTA Stats and broadcast teams for US Open Cup and International Champions Cup matches held in the US. Krysinsky also served as the Head Men’s Soccer Coach at his alma mater, Point Park University, where he led the Pioneers to the first-ever winning seasons and playoff berths (1996-98); head coach of North Catholic boys (2007-08), associate head coach of Shady Side Academy boys (2009-2014).
