HS Soccer Scoreboard: PIAA Play-In Game Winners #PghSoccer #WPIAL

On Wednesday night, seven teams (see scores below) earned a 3rd place finish in the WPIAL tournament with wins, also extended its season by earning a berth in the PIAA (State) soccer playoffs which begin next week.

BOYS 

4A – Pine Richland 1  Upper St. Clair 0   
(Pine-Richland will play the winner of 4A WPIAL final on Tues. Nov. 8 at site/time TBA) 
3A – Montour 5  Thomas Jefferson 0
(Montour will play District 10 Champion on Tues. Nov. 8 at site/time TBA) 
2A – Beaver 2  South Park 1
(Beaver will play either District 5 or 6 Champion on Tues. Nov. 8 at site/time TBA) 
1A – Seton-LaSalle 3  Freedom 1
(Seton-LaSalle will play District 9 Champion on Tues. Nov. 8 at site/time TBA) 

GIRLS 

4A – Fox Chapel 1  Mt. Lebanon 0
(Fox Chapel will play the winner of WPIAL Championship on Tues. Nov. 8 at site/time TBA) 
3A – South Park 4  Ambridge 0
(South Park will play District 10 Champions on Tues. Nov. 8 at site/time TBA) 
1A – Vincentian 4  Bentworth 2
(Vincentian will play District 9 Champions on Tues. Nov. 8 at site/time TBA) 
NOTE – There was no play-in game for Girls 2A, as they only received two berths to the PIAA tournament.
The PIAA playoffs will begin on Tuesday, November 8 and conclude with Finals on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 18-19 in Hershey, PA.
