In our latest edition of the #PghSoccer Film Series, we are happy to share the sights, sounds and action of what is becoming a new sports tradition in Pittsburgh — the annual Independence Day game hosted by the Pittsburgh Riverhounds.
The Hounds battled one of the top teams in USL, the Charlotte Independence and Nick Milliron captured all of the action, and produced this video.
In the video, we caught up with one of the Hounds biggest fans, and board member of the Steel Army, Mike Shoemaker, along with some fans that got their first taste of pro soccer in Pittsburgh to give us their perspectives on the 4th of July game, which Hounds fell to the Independence, 3-1 before a sellout crowd of more than 4,000 fans.
You can see all of the videos in the #PghSoccer Film Series, on our YouTube Page, or here on the #PghSoccer Film series page.
