3:42 p.m. – Greensburg CC’s Samantha Felder with a goal for a 1-0 lead over Windber in girls
3:41 p.m. – It’s a final, Peters Twp 3, North Allegheny 1 – the Indians take the rematch and move on to PIAA Boys 4A Semifinals.
3:20 p.m. – and the Indians making sure there’s no North Allegheny comeback this time around. Only one minute and 21 seconds after Stuck’s goal, Bryce Gabelhart splits the Tigers’ defense


3:13 p.m. – Peters gets a big, second goal…


3:01 p.m. – beginning of 2nd half — Peters Twp Indians 1, North Allegheny 0

2:55 p.m. – In 3A girls, Moon is through — winning easily over Fleetwood, 4-0.
2:45 p.m. – halftime score: Boys 1A – Brockway 1 Springdale 1
2:30 p.m. – Mars lost to Villa Marie, in a PK shootout.

North Catholic soccer going where North Catholic soccer has never gone before — a PIAA semifinal.
Ryan Augustine scored for North Catholic with 2:28 remaining.


1:43 p.m. – FINAL – Norwin 4, North Allegheny 0
Norwin (19-2-1) advances to state semis second time in three years. GK Sam Wexell earns her 51st career shutout — school record.
1:41 p.m. – Mars (girls 3A) headed to OT, vs VIlla Marie
1:40 p.m. – season is over for Waynesburg Central — and what a season it was.


1:16 p.m. – it’s been an onslaught of Norwin goals in the 2nd half …
Emily Harrigan scores twice in a short span. The second coming on a corner kick played in by Alyssa Victor.
1:05 p.m. – Mars goes up 1-0 in its game vs Villa Marie… on a Maggie Williams goal (46th minute)
1:01 p.m. – early 2nd half score: Norwin goes up on North Allegheny, 1-0.


12:52 p.m. – a few halftime scores of early games via Twitter…
This is the first time since the 2nd game of the season that the Waynesburg were shutout in a half (2-1 loss to South Fayette)


Norwin and North Allegheny girls (4A) are scoreless at the half.

John Krysinsky has covered soccer and other sports for many years for various publications and media outlets. He is also author of 'Miracle on the Mon' -- a book about the Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC, which chronicles the club, particularly the early years of Highmark Stadium with the narrative leading up to and centered around a remarkable match that helped provide a spark for the franchise. John has covered sports for Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, DK Pittsburgh Sports, Pittsburgh Sports Report, has served as color commentator on Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC broadcasts, and worked with OPTA Stats and broadcast teams for US Open Cup and International Champions Cup matches held in the US. Krysinsky also served as the Head Men’s Soccer Coach at his alma mater, Point Park University, where he led the Pioneers to the first-ever winning seasons and playoff berths (1996-98); head coach of North Catholic boys (2007-08), associate head coach of Shady Side Academy boys (2009-2014).
