Pittsburgh Sports Live’s Soccer Show makes debut with Riverhounds SC’s Joe Greenspan & Hugh Roberts

On Thursday evening, on Pittsburgh Sports Live, the Soccer Show made its debut.

And what better way to kickoff this new show than by having two members of the Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC, defenders Joe Greenspan and Hugh Roberts with me in the Downtown Pittsburgh studio.

Together (as I joked we could make a formidable three-man back line) we discussed many topics including:

  • Being a part of a turnaround season in Pittsburgh
  • Building team chemistry in season which they’ve surrendered only 23 goals in 31 matches and posted 16 clean sheets
  • Learned more about their backgrounds, how they made it to this point in their soccer careers
  • What it’s like to play for coach Bob Lilley
  • Who would win a game of 1-on-1 in hoops between the two
  • The match-up vs USL regular season champions FC Cincinnati this Saturday
  • Excitement of making the playoffs and hosting home game(s) at Highmark Stadium for the first time in club history
  • And much, much more

Hope you enjoy and if you haven’t done so already, please subscribe to the Pittsburgh Sports Live channel on YouTube.
