NCAA DIVISION II SOCCER NATIONAL SEMIFINALS

NCAA Division II Men’s Final Four:

FINAL – Cal State L.A. 3, UIndy 0   BOX SCORE

FINAL – Charleston 3,  Lynn 1  BOX SCORE

Cal State LA will face Charleston on Saturday (3 p.m. kickoff) 

NCAA Division II Women’s Final Four:

FINAL:  Grand Valley St. 3, St. Rose College 2   BOX SCORE

FINAL – Western Washington 2, Flager 0   BOX SCORE

Western Washington will now face Grand Valley State on Saturday (12 Noon kickoff)

GAME DAY UPDATES 

9:52 – FINAL

9:30 – We’re getting late into the second half, and Charleston still handing on to its 2-1 lead. Defending well and limiting Lynn’s chances. Their possession edge in the first half and just enough in the second half may be wearing down Lynn at this point.

8:44 – Lynn scored the early goal to take a 1-0 lead, but Charleston’s come charging back with a pair of goals in the 30th and 33rd minutes to take the 2-1 lead.

Cal State LA will now face the winner of the final match of the day, between Charleston (WV) and Lynn (FL)

6:56 – GOAL CAL ST LA

5:48 – HALF – CAL ST LA 1, UIndy 0

5:25 – GOAL – CAL ST LA

5:02 – The first men’s semifinal: between Cal State LA and UIndy has kicked off.

3:44 p.m. – GOAL – Western Washington

Now late in the match, WWU scores again!  It’s Karli White (Assist by Jordyn Bartelson)

2:15 p.m. – GOAL – Western Washington scored just nine minutes into the match, Grace Eversaul (Assist by Karli White).

1 p.m. — FINAL:  GVSU 3, St. Rose 2

The first final of the day — Grand Valley State will be playing in its eighth D II Women’s final in 11 years, looking to win for the sixth time in this span on Saturday, as they held off a determined effort from College of St. Rose, who scored twice in the second half to make things interesting.

Krysinsky also served as the Head Men’s Soccer Coach at his alma mater, Point Park University, where he led the Pioneers to the first-ever winning seasons and playoff berths (1996-98); head coach of North Catholic boys (2007-08), associate head coach of Shady Side Academy boys (2009-2014).
