WPIAL Boys Soccer Scores (9/30/2020): Fox Chapel, West A, Elizabeth Forward & Springdale pick up key section wins

At this point in the WPIAL boys soccer season, most teams have played the majority of its section opponents at least one time, with some exceptions of schools getting off to a later start.

On Wednesday night, the scheduled was filled with section games.

A few notable results included:

• 4A – Section 1 – Fox Chapel shut out Butler 2-0, to improve to 4-2. Butler drops to 4-2-1 as the logjam only tightens at the top of this very competitive section.
• 3A – Section 2 – West Allegheny topped Moon, 3-1. The Indians improved to 7-1-0 to stay on top of the standings, while Moon now drops to 5-2.

• 2A – Section 1 – Elizabeth Forward outpaces Keystone Oaks for sole possession of second place. Warriors improve to 6-1-0, while Keystone Oaks drops to 4-2.

• 1A – Section 3 – In a battle of unbeatens, Springdale blanked Eden Christian, 3-0.  The Dynamo are now 4-0, while Eden Christian drops to 2-1.
