The WPIAL boys soccer playoffs began Saturday with one classification in action — the ultra-competitive Class 3A tournament.
When the smoke cleared, all four teams from this classification’s Section 2 (West Allegheny, Moon, South Fayette & Montour) advanced, and will now face off against each other in Wednesday’s quarterfinal round. The top two seeds, Mars and Franklin Regional also advance with comfortable wins.
WPIAL Playoff Scoreboard is presented by Miracle on the Mon, a book by John Krysinsky, available on Amazon, which would make a great gift for any soccer fan !

So 5-5 going into the 3rd round of PKs!! That means the teams have each only made half of their shots. Not something you see often in a shootout that goes this long! #WPIALSoccer https://t.co/qd8TagkBWc
