Preview / PSN Pitt Men’s Soccer Coverage

Pitt men’s soccer team has hit an unusual bump in the road, with two straight losses, and now they’ll be looking to get back on track Friday night as they welcome No. 23 Clemson to Ambrose Urbanic Field for a 8:00 pm first kick.

This is a match up of two teams that were ranked in the Top 10 at the start of the season, but each side has experienced its own struggles.

While Pitt has been without a win in its last three matches, Clemson did beat North Carolina, 1-0, last week, to improve to 2-2 in the ACC.

The most recent matches between these two sides have come with high stakes as they met in the 2020 ACC Championship game, then in 2021 NCAA Tournament Automatic Berth play in game, both won by Clemson.  Pitt took the last meeting at Clemson, 1-0, in 2021.

In fact, last year at this time, Pitt was in danger of falling to 4-4 overall and 1-2 in the ACC, then they went to Clemson, and pulled off a bit win.
