WPIAL Boys Soccer Schedule (10/15/2022)

It’s the final Saturday of the regular season for high school boys soccer in the district.  The schedule has a few section matches that will decide where teams finish in their respective standings including a 1st-vs-2nd showdown in Class 1A between Sewickley Academy and Eden Academy.

WPIAL Class 4A 

Section 1 (4A)

Butler 2, Pine-Richland 1

With the win, Butler (8-4-2) earns the final playoff spot out of Section 1, edging out North Allegheny (7-6-0).  North Allegheny has one game remaining vs Seneca Valley on Monday, but they’ve been elminated.

WPIAL Class 2A

East Allegheny 7, Steel Valley 0

Leechburg 2, Jeannette 0

WPIAL Class 1A

Eden Christian 3, Sewickley Academy 0

Eden (10-1-0) levels the season series with Sewickley (11-1-0) with the win, and can clinch a share of the Section title now with a win vs South Side Beaver this week.
