WPIAL Boys Soccer Class 1A Quarterfinal Round (10/29/2022)

The WPIAL Boys Class 1A playoffs continued Saturday with quarterfinal round action.

The top two seeds, Greensburg Central Catholic and Winchester Thurston didn’t have much resistance in the first round, but the Centurians were upset by section foes Charleroi, 3-2,  on Saturday.

No. 3 Sewickley Academy and No. 4 Eden Christian were tested again, but they pulled through, while defending champs and No. 2 seed Winchester Thurston had no trouble dispatching Serra Catholic.
