At Fox Chapel today, the Foxes needed a late goal in the final minute of regulation to salvage a 2-1 win over Penn Trafford.  Here’s my game story of the dramatic win in the Pittsburgh Tribune Review.
Another surprising result may have been the exit of last year’s defending Girls AA Champs, Montour, who were defeated by Highlands.
In the other game I covered at Fox Chapel, led by freshman Krystyna Rytel’s goal and assist, Shady Side Academy cruised to a 2-0 win over Serra Catholic in WPIAL Girls Class A First Round game.
