WPIAL Boys Soccer scoreboard (9/7/19)

Welcome to Pittsburgh Soccer Now‘s WPIAL Boys Soccer scoreboard for Saturday, September 7, 2019, presented by Steel City Pre-Owned Auto Sales.

We’ve got a full slate of scores (and tweets with more details) as we’ve reached the second Saturday of the boys soccer season — and it’s almost exclusively non-section matches across the WPIAL. The lone section match, East Allegheny beat McGuffey, 1-0.

Plus, our own Ed Thompson was at South Fayette, as the Lions came back from a 1-0 deficit to knock off West Allegheny in non-section action between two top 3A teams. Fletcher Amos scored the game’s opening goal, but Ethan Sanders’ goal in the second half for the Lions was the difference.

We’ll be updating the remainder of the scores as they come later tonight.
