The Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC faced the El Paso Locomotive for the first time ever in a rare match between Eastern and Western Conference clubs in the USL Championship.
The Hounds escaped with 1-0 win, thanks to a Russell Cicerone goal in the 47th minute and some late heroics from goalkeeper Kevin Silva, who saved a penalty kick in the 89th minute.
PSN’s Mark Goodman was there to capture the sights on a splendid weather evening on the banks of the Monongahela River at Highmark Stadium.
