The Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC continued its strong form of late with an impressive 4-1 victory against the winless Las Vegas Lights before another large crowd at Highmark Stadium on Saturday night.

PSN’s Dom Campbell provided the match coverage, as Edward Kizza scored twice in the first half, his former Pitt teammate Arturo Ordóñez along with Danny Griffin each found the net for the Hounds (4-2-5), who remain undefeated at Highmark Stadium in 2023.

Marcelo Lage scored a late goal from a corner kick for the Lights (0-4-6).

The Hounds also had their third consecutive league match with a sellout crowd with a paid attendance of 5,184 at Highmark Stadium. The Hounds can now set their sights on their next opponent, Major League Soccer’s Columbus Crew, in a Round of 16 U.S. Open Cup tournament match, also at Highmark Stadium, this coming Wednesday.

After the match, Dom caught up with Head Coach Bob Lilley, Kizza and Ordóñez, each interview captured on Pittsburgh Sports Now YouTube Channel.
