Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC dealt with a rain delay that lasted three hours long and took the game to Hartford Athletic, easily winning 2-0 in the end.
The win marks No. 100 for Riverhounds head coach Bob Lilley, who has an overall record of 100-40-53 with the club since taking over prior to the 2018 season.
Riverhounds forward Juan Carlos (J.C.) Obregón Jr. also scored in the match from the penalty spot in the 42nd minute. The goal is the second for him since joining the club in July and also the first goal against his former club in Hartford. Obergón made 53 appearances for Hartford over the 2021 and 2022 seasons, scoring 15 goals.
