FINAL: Bucknell 2, Robert Morris 0

Match Stats

Robert Morris men’s soccer opened the season unable to find the back of the net, getting shut out by Bucknell, 2-0, at North Athletic Complex in Moon on Thursday afternoon.

Two early first half goals 13 minutes apart for the Bison did the trick.

The first came in the 13th minute, from a header from Drew Roskos.

Cade McGrath then doubled the Bison lead in the 3oth minute.

The Colonials had their chances, but couldn’t convert throughout the match, despite holding 13-7 (7-4 on target) shots advantage along with a 5-2 edge on corner attempts.

Of note, the Bison are coached by former Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC Head Coach, Dave Brandt, who begun his second season in Lewisburg with a win.

A more detailed recap will follow.
