Road To Highmark: Remaining key dates for PIAA / WPIAL Soccer season

This is a big week for high school soccer in our region, so we thought we would set the table.

The 2024 Boys’ & Girls’ Soccer Championships will begin Monday, October 21.

Teams qualify for the WPIAL tournament by finishing in the top four of their respective sections following the regular season. Championship matches will be held on October 31-November 2 at Highmark Stadium in Pittsburgh’s Station Square.

Each classification champion and additional teams qualify for the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) Boys’ & Girls’ Soccer Championships. The amount of designated PIAA qualifier spots can be found on each bracket. The PIAA Boys’ & Girls’ Soccer Championships begin on Tuesday, November 5 and all championship games are held on November 15-16 at Eagle View Middle School in Mechanicsburg.

Pittsburgh Soccer Now will continue its coverage of High School boys and girls soccer through the end of the regular season, with our daily schedule and match day notes posts along with scoreboard at the end of each match day.  Look for more coverage to come on Wednesday, October 16, as the playoff brackets will be revealed.
