RMU women’s soccer team came up short in their Horizon League matchup against Milwaukee, suffering a 3-0 defeat. The loss brings the Colonials’ record to 4-5-5 overall and 3-2-2 in conference play.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Both teams traded early shots on target, but Milwaukee broke the deadlock in the 14th minute with Kayla Rollins scoring from distance.
Rollins doubled Milwaukee’s lead in the 31st minute, finding the net again to make it 2-0.
The Panthers maintained pressure, adding five more shots before halftime.
RMU goalkeeper Brenna Murray stood strong early in the second half, making five key saves.
In the 59th minute, Paloma Swankler received a yellow card.
Milwaukee added a third goal in the 80th minute to seal the win.
The Colonials managed one more shot on goal but couldn’t convert.
