WPIAL / PIAA Boys High School Soccer Daily Report (Sept 17): Upper St Clair scores dramatic equalizer with one second left to draw Peters Twp, 2-2

Below you’ll find the scoreboard from Thursday’s boys soccer results from around the district, where WPIAL section play heated up.

The highlight of the evening (unless there’s one out there we don’t know about that tops it) — Upper St. Clair found the late equalizer at the very last second to level its match with Peters Township.

It was all underclassman who did the damage.  Freshman Blaise Hull had two assists, the staying cool under pressure, corner kick service that set up the game-winner, connecting with Hayato Mashiko just before the countdown clock struck zero.  Also scoring for USC, was freshman Ezra Schwartz, who followed up a Hull dangerous ball into the box.

Scoring for Peters Township, included: Jacob Gawenus and Nicholas Sefer.
