WPIAL Girls soccer finals dates and times are set

The WPIAL Girls finals are now all set, after Monday’s semifinal action, the game days and times have been set for Highmark Stadium this coming weekend.

  • Thursday, October 31, 6 p.m.           4A FINAL – North Allegheny vs Norwin
  • Friday, November 1, 4 p.m.              1A FINAL – Shady Side Academy vs Greensburg Central Catholic
  • Saturday, November 2, 10 a.m.        2A FINAL – Yough vs North Catholic
  • Saturday, November 2, 12 Noon      3A FINAL – Mars vs Plum

With the Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC winning last week, and now hosting the USL Championship Eastern Conference semifinal match on Saturday night, the WPIAL schedule was altered a bit from its usual four game Saturday. Now, they’ve added a match on Friday afternoon (1A Girls Final) and they’ll play three games on Saturday, with the Girls 2A and 3A finals being played at 10 a.m. and 12 Noon.
