There were just a few games on the WPIAL boys soccer schedule on Tuesday night, but they featured a pair of Class 4A, Section 2 matches.
Upper St. Clair and Peters Township cemented their places atop the standings with strong scoring outputs tonight against Bethel Park and Baldwin respectively. Last season’s section champs, Peters, are now 3-0 in section (5-0 overall), while USC won its first section match after a couple of close non-section losses at the Plum tournament on Labor Day weekend.
