WPIAL Boys Class 3A Soccer Playoff Bracket: Experienced West Allegheny are a team on a mission

Click here to find the WPIAL Class 3A Boys Soccer bracket for the 2021 playoff tournament.

Heading into this season, after a three-year run with Franklin Regional dominating the regular season and winning two WPIAL titles, then Mars putting together a magical run in 2020, the West Allegheny boys soccer program were right there, step-for-step with those teams, only to come up just short each year.

This season, West A brought back a very talented and experienced team, and they’ve blitzed through all competition, posting an impressive 18-0 record (14-0 in section), without really being challenged all that much.  The question from this classification will be, which of the other contenders will step up and challenge West Allegheny?  Hampton’s had a very good season, knocking Mars off the mantle, to finish unbeaten in their competitive section.  Plum avenged an early season loss to Franklin Regional and has gotten better as the season has evolved.  There are other solid teams in the middle of the bracket that are also lurking including Thomas Jefferson, Moon and Belle Vernon.
