Class 4A Notes / Recent Coverage

• The Gauntlet at the Top: Mt. Lebanon secured the No. 1 seed after surviving a brutal Section 2 three-way battle, but defending 3A champion Fox Chapel made a seamless jump to 4A and conceded just 3 goals all regular season.

• Norwin’s Road-Warrior Run: As discussed on the Kids on the Pitch podcast with head coach Ashley DeVito, the ultra-young Knights have leaned into their nomadic, facility-renovation reality to string together a 32-goal scoring surge over their last five matches.

📝 Class 2A Notes / Recent Coverage

• The Undefeated Guard: South Park navigates into the bracket as one of the WPIAL’s rare unblemished teams (16-0-0), backed by a defense that surrendered only 3 goals all fall.

• Cinderella Story: Yough captured the Section 4 crown with an unblemished 12-0 run, making an incredible multi-year leap from a No. 16 seed last autumn straight to the top tier of the classification.
