Preview / Key Storylines

In its inaugural season, Pittsburgh City United FC will have a chance to advance to the Beltway North Final against the winner of the Inter Atlantic vs Baltimore United, but must beat Sure Sports FC to do so.

The two teams met twice in the regular season, with Sure Sports winning on its home turf, then PCUFC hosted a 2-2 draw on October 16.

City United have been strong at home, posting a 4-1-1 record, while Sure Sports are 2-2-2 on the road.

Sure Sports have not won since October 23, as they enter this match without a win in its last three matches (0-1-2).

City United finished the regular season in second place in the Beltway North, averaging 3.1 goals per game while allowing just 1.1 goals into the net.

Christian Kapanda finished the regular season as the team leading scorer with 8 goals followed by Mathew Teitelbaum (7) Jett Blaschka and Ndayisenga Emmanuel tied for 3rd with 5 goals apiece.

Jett Blaschka on Tuesday received his second straight UPSL Northeast Team of the Week honor (his 3rd overall) marking the 11th time in 12 regular season games City United has had a player selected.

Precious selections include Jake Woodruff, Giraldo Santiago, Ndayisenga Emmanuel, Christian Kapanda, Mathew Teitelbaum, Enrique Amador, and Judler Delva.

City United fans will get to see the return of USVI National Team striker Ramesses McGuinness, who has not played since his one goal, two  assist performance  on the road against Athletic United in late September.

Tickets are available at the gate and on eventbrite $15 for adults $5 for children.

The game will also be available on the Eleven Sports Network.
