The Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC remain on tails of the Eastern Conference leaders with their sixth win in the past seven matches extending their unbeaten streak to seven games, by defeating Indy Eleven, 2-0, on the road on Saturday night at Carroll Stadium.

PSN’s Midwest correspondent Dan Angell was on hand, and filed the following match report.

Dan also caught up with Head Coach Bob Lilley, Dani Rovira and Russell Cicerone after the match.

WIth two goals, Cicerone, with 11 goals this campaign, moved into double-digit goals for the second straight season.  Rovira, playing on the wing, picked up the assist on Cicerone’s first goal.

Lilley was very pleased with his team’s effort, especially in light of the fact that they had to play down a man for the final 40 minutes.
