The Riverhounds are red hot.

So are the rest of teams ahead of them in the standings.

Despite being unbeaten in its last seven matches (6-0-1), the Hounds remain in fourth place in the USL Championship’s Eastern Conference standings, behind Louisville City FC, Tampa Bay Rowdies and this week’s opponent, Memphis 901 FC.

In our latest edition of ‘Sounding Off on Soccer’, Pittsburgh Soccer Now and Pittsburgh Sports Now‘s midwest contributor Dan Angell, who also has his own soccer podcast, Gabacho Borracho U.S. Soccer Talk, joins John to talk about the Riverhounds latest win, which he covered (Saturday’s 2-0 win at Indy).

Plus, Dan, who also covered the Hounds loss at Louisville City, also provides his thoughts on his impressions on their chances in the USL’s Championship’s Eastern Conference, more on both Indy Eleven and Louisville City FC and some USMNT takeaways heading into the World Cup later this year.
