WPIAL Boys Soccer Scores (9/29/2020): Canon-Mac edges Mt. Lebanon, 1-0 in OT

It was light schedule for WPIAL Boys soccer on Tuesday, however, a few interesting rematches from last season’s WPIAL Finals took place

In Class 1A, Greensburg Central Catholic stormed back for three goals after trailing 1-0, then held on to beat Winchester Thurston, 3-2.

Ed Thompson was in Greensburg to capture the action.

In 4A, Section 2 rivals Mt. Lebanon and Canon-McMillan clashed for the first time since last year’s WPIAL final  — with the Big Macs edging the Blue Devils in a tight affair that went to overtime, 1-0.

Canon-Mac now improves its record to 2-3, while Mt. Lebanon, section champs a year ago, dropped to 1-4.
