PIAA Girls Soccer Quarterfinal Round Scoreboard

The weather has turned cold, but the PIAA girls soccer playoff tournament heated up Saturday in the quarterfinal round with matches  nine teams from the WPIAL were still in contention to win a state title.

Seven of the eight WPIAL girls teams competing on Saturday advanced to Tuesday’s semifinal round, with the lone team losing to another District 7 teams (Freedom lost to Greensburg Central Catholic.
