The Colonials are slated to play a 17-game campaign, including 10 Horizon League contests, as well as two exhibition games to open the season. Both scrimmages will be out on the road at Mount Saint Mary’s (8/12) and Marshall (8/17).

“We are excited to announce our 2023 Fall Schedule,” said Potter. “We look forward to the opportunity to compete and represent Robert Morris University this fall.”

The official season opener and home opener for the men’s squad will be against VMI on August 24 at 4pm. Three days later, RMU hosts another non-conference game against Niagara on August 27. “Hosting eight regular-season games in Moon Township is great for our student, alumni, and campus community,” stated Potter.

Heading across Pennsylvania, the Colonials begin a four-game road trip at Bucknell (9/1) and Saint Francis (9/5). Then, RMU starts their conference season out in Northern Kentucky on September 9.

Returning to the Pittsburgh area, the Colonials will kick off at Duquesne on September 13. “We look forward to continuing some great local rivalries in our non-conference schedule which will prepare us for the Horizon League,” said Potter. “The Horizon League is very competitive from top to bottom and we will embrace the challenge to compete at a high level this fall.”

As the season continues, RMU will play against IUPUI (9/16) and then travel to Milwaukee (9/23) for two conference tilts.

To end the month of September, Saint Bonaventure (9/26) and Purdue Fort Wayne (9/30) come to Moon Township.

With a week’s rest, the Colonials begin a three-game road trip at Wright State (10/7), Green Bay (10/14) and at Wake Forest (10/17).

After playing down south in North Carolina, the Colonials will play two games at home against Oakland (10/21) and their last non-conference game of the season, facing Le Moyne College (10/24).

The last Horizon League game on the road will be at Detroit Mercy on October 28. And, the final home game and Senior Day, will be against Cleveland State on November 1.
