Robert Morris graduate goalkeeper Brenna Murray earned herself #HLWSOC Under Armour Defensive Player of the Week, announced by the league office today, Monday afternoon.

In RMU’s opening week of non-conference play, the Colonials took down VMI 3-0, and Hampton 1-0 in back-to-back days.

Murray started in both games and played all 180 minutes in goal.

Across those two games, Murray made 10 saves in her first two appearances for RMU. For the first time since 2008, the women’s soccer program started the season with two clean sheets, thanks to Murray’s flawless performances in net.
