In a back-and-forth affair, with Brazil on the front foot for most of the first half, and in the late stages of the match, USWNT goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher came up big with numerous saves to keep the clean sheet.

The USA and Brazil have both previously reached the podium at the Olympic Games.
