PIAA Girls Soccer First Round Scoreboard

High School Girls Soccer District competition ended with an exciting weekend of WPIAL finals at Highmark Stadium, and now 11 WPIAL Schools Girls Soccer teams will now step into the State tournament conducted by PIAA.

The Brackets were finalized on Sunday — with the action kicking off on Tuesday at 4 p.m.  (Peters Twp hosting Central Dauphin (District 3 – 4th Place) is the first match of the day.

We’ll keep tabs on the results as they come in, posting them on this thread.

John Krysinsky has covered soccer and other sports for many years for various publications and media outlets. He is also author of 'Miracle on the Mon' -- a book about the Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC, which chronicles the club, particularly the early years of Highmark Stadium with the narrative leading up to and centered around a remarkable match that helped provide a spark for the franchise.
