With not one, but two Pittsburgh teams, Pitt and Robert Morris, in the NCAA Men’s Soccer tournament, plus West Virginia, who won the Sun Belt Championship, and looking to get back to the College Cup, we will be keeping tabs on the full tournament including the first round, which will feature 16 matches, with the winners advancing to take on the top 16 seeds, who earned a first-round bye.

Robert Morris battled Michigan, losing 2-0, while West Virginia defeated North Florida, 2-1.

As the No. 2 overall seed in the tournament, Pitt now faces Cornell, as the Big Red roared back to overtake Fordham, 4-2, on Thursday afternoon.   The Panthers will host Cornell on Sunday at Ambrose Urbanic Field (5 pm ET).
