Point Park University women’s soccer claimed the River States Conference championship title and punched a ticket to the NAIA National Championship Opening Round after a 2-0 win over Ohio Christian University Saturday.

Point Park (10-7-2, 6-2 RSC) scored two goals in the final 20 minutes of regulation to claim the RSC Tournament Champion title and secure a bid to the NAIA National Championship Opening Round Nov. 19 for the second year in a row.

During the regular season, Ohio Christian (11-6-2, 7-0-1 RSC) beat the Pioneers, 2-1. The Trailblazers sat atop the RSC leaderboard for most of the regular season, going undefeated in conference action.

It was a 0-0 tie heading into halftime, but Point Park struck first in the 72nd minute on a goal by Izzy Hunter, her seventh of the season.
