FOLLOW THE ACTION HERE:
my post game interview with the two heroes from Montour — Brandon Wagner who had the assist — and Gunner Graham who scored the game winner.

3:52 p.m. – GOAL – MONTOUR WINS IT IN OT.
It was Gunner Graham who toe pokes it in.
3:46 p.m. – we’re going to overtime here at West Allegheny after a wild final 12 minutes or so.
3:45 p.m. – Springdale beats Seton-LaSalle

3:30 p.m.GOAL Chartiers Valley – now 1-1

Nolan Hutter is stopped by Duggan on PK — but Hutter hustles to rebound and puts it in goal for the equalizer.
3:29 p.m. – after a few minutes, officials rule a penalty kick for the Colts. Looks like foul called on Montour keeper Bryan Duggan.
3:27 p.m. – wild sequence here — as players converge on goal as Char Valley plays it into goal box, there’s a hard collision by goal with keeper knocking down CV player. Ball then hit into goal. Officials come together to talk about it, while two players are on the ground hurt.
3:24 p.m. – Chartiers Valley still unable to create any decent scoring opportunities in final third. Time running out for defending 3A champs.
3:17 p.m. – GOAL – Montour – 1-0.  Nolan Hutter converts PENALTY KICK in 60th minute
So much for momentum.  Hard to dispute call. A few bodies converged near top of box after a Montour corner.
3:13 p.m. – momentum swinging a bit in Chartiers Valley’s favor. Have had a few free kicks — latest from DiMatteo is low into box — and Johnny Henderson gets to loose ball but shot goes way over bar.
2:48 p.m. – Shady Side punches its second consecutive ticket to Highmark Stadium — beats Central Valley, 2-0. Not looking like a 15 seed in this WPIAL 2A tournament.

2:45 p.m. – Half here at West Allegheny — it’s scoreless between Char Valley and Montour.
Good chance near end of half by Montour, but CV keeper Moore made a nice save after ball bounced around on right side of goal area and a Patrick Phillips put a shot on goal.
2:36 p.m. – Seton LaSalle & Springdale going to OT.
2:20 p.m. – Seton LaSalle ties it.
Seton LaSalle ties Springdale up at 1 with 15:11 remaining. Gabe Rosario off a Kaleb Krebs throw-in
2:00 p.m. – line-ups complete — and we’re ready for some action here at West Allegheny between Char Valley and Montour.
1:55 p.m. – updated score from Springdale vs Seton LaSalle clash…

12:30 p.m. – SCHEDULE UPDATE – One change on the schedule, the doubleheader being played at West Allegheny has been moved to 2 p.m. start, as on the original schedule it was a 1 p.m. start for the Chartiers Valley-Montour 3A game.
The Road to Highmark is coming down to the final stretch with eight spots up for grabs in the four classification on Saturday as the boys WPIAL semifinal matches will be taking place with start times of 1 and 3 p.m. — at four different locations (West Allegheny, Mars, North Allegheny and Ambridge).
