Pitt Men’s soccer faced the University of Vermont in the Elite Eight of the NCAA College Cup.
The offense was effective at maintaining possession, but struggled to generate chances.
In the early going of the second half, a sloppy turnover at left back led to a Catamounts goal. UVM parked the bus for the final 35 minutes of the match, and Pitt couldn’t find their way through, ending their season.
