This will be Rosborough’s first selection to the U.S. U-17’s, but Rosborough has played with USYNT’s U15 and U16 teams in 2023 and 2024.
Rosborough grew up in the Pittsburgh area, attending school in the West Allegheny School District and playing with Beadling Soccer Club beginning at age four, through age 14.
The 15 year-old made his professional debut with New York Red Bulls II on April 21, 2023, against New England Revolution II, making him one of the youngest players to appear in a match in club history.
Rosborough, 16, is entering his first season with the New York Red Bulls after spending the previous two seasons with New York Red Bulls II.
The forward made 25 MLS NEXT Pro appearances and recorded seven goals and three assists.
In September 2023, Rosborough joined PSN’s John Krysinsky on Kids on the Pitch Podcast, talking about his experience playing with USYNT in 2023, where he helped the U.S. capture U15 CONCACAF Championship, beating Mexico in the Final. Rosborough scored two goals in six matches in that experience. His most recent call-up was into a United States U-16 camp on May 22, 2024.
“It’s an exciting thing. (I get) a little bit nervous. But it give a little bit more fire in you, that I need to show what I can do,” Rosborough said.
“It was such a cool experience. Meeting top players from all over the country. I have a lot of bonds and friendships with a lot of those guys. It was great. Playing with the best talent, and winning a championship, that was unreal.”

In 2024, Rosborough appeared in 23 matches with NYRBII in MLS Next Pro, where he scored seven goals.
He scored a goal in five-straight matches, which is the second-longest goal scoring streak in franchise history. He scored his first career MLS NEXT Pro goal on June 30, 2024, against Columbus Crew 2 and he became the fourth youngest goal scorer in franchise history at 16 years, 101 days old.
Rosborough and the United States U-17 National Team have been placed in Group F of the competition and will play three matches against U.S. Virgin Islands, St. Kitts and Nevis, and Cuba from February 2 to February 16 in Costa Rica. The top team of the group will advance to November’s FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar.
