Keeping up with the latest Pittsburgh soccer schedule, there will be three matches on Saturday following Riveters’ first-ever home victory on Friday night.

The Riverhounds will be hosting Rhode Island FC, as the teams square off for the second time in as many weeks.  This time though, it will be a group stage match as part of USL’s Jagermeister Cup competition.  Coming off a 1-0 win at Rhode Island, the Hounds will need a result in this match to remain in contention in the Group, as Rhode Island posted three points in their previous Cup match, while the Hounds fell, 1-0, at Detroit.

For more on this match and more from Hounds’ Head Coach Bob Lilley and midfielder Jackson Walti, check out this week’s edition of Riverhounds Notebook.

Meanwhile, the Riveters earned their first-ever win at Highmark Stadium on a very wet Friday night at Highmark Stadium.  PSN’s Colton Coreschi was there — and provided the match report.

On Saturday, Pittsburgh other two women’s pre-professional squads, Steel City FC and Beadling SC, are in action.  Steel City (1-0-0 USL W-League) are home, hosting Cleveland Force, while Beadling SC (0-1-1, WPSL) are on the road, taking on FC Dayton.
