9:35 p.m. – it’s over here at Fox Chapel — Norwin beats North Allegheny 2-0.
The Knights will be heading to Highmark Stadium to go for the three-peat — and they’ll have to do it against section rivals Penn Trafford, the only team that’s beaten them in WPIAL match in the past three years.
9:20 p.m. – with 11 minutes left here, Norwin carrying most of the play, but North Allegheny finding some room on the width — and have sent some crosses into the box, but Wexell’s been solid on all balls in air.
9 p.m. – 2A – halftime score: Freedom 2 Yough 0
Freedom goals scored by Chloe Keller and Lyndsee Monac
8:59 p.m. – Norwin taking command of this one — another goal early in the half.

8:43 p.m. – halftime here — pretty quiet final 30 minutes of the 1st half — and Norwin still holding on to 1-0 lead on strength of Emily Harrigan strike.
8:12 p.m. – Sam Wexell, Norwin’s keeper and Ohio University commit makes a dazzling save on a ball played quickly to near post.
8:05 p.m. – GOAL – Norwin scores just two minutes into match with North Allegheny. It was Emily Harrigan with a shot that NA keeper Olivia Ruppersburger.

7:34 p.m. – Jordan Lawrence with the game winner for Penn Trafford — beating Upper St. Clair with a goal with one minute remaining in the match. PT’s Lauran Stovar took the ball all the way to the left side endline — cut back a nice pass to Mackenzie Aunkst at the top of the box. Aunkst had the presence of mind to play the ball to a wide open Lawrence by the far post who had all kinds of time to bury the clinical finish.
It ended a match that was played at a furious pace — after the Warriors tied it up at 1-1 in the 60th minute.
Penn Trafford will now await the winner of Norwin-North Allegheny.
Mars up 2-1 with 17m left.
