The Riverhounds SC’s four-game win streak came to a crashing halt as Miami FC stormed back with three goals in the second half to stun the home side, 3-2, at Highmark Stadium on Wednesday evening.
It was a former Robert Morris University standout, Devon ‘Speedy’ Williams and former Riverhound Christiano Francois, who led the way in the come-from-behind victory for Miami FC. Williams scored twice, including the game-winner on a penalty kick drawn by Francois in the 81st minute. Francois scored one minute after the Hounds took a 2-0 lead in the 51st minute.
FINAL: Miami FC 3, Riverhounds 2
