The Riverhounds SC’s four-game win streak came to a crashing halt as Miami FC stormed back with three goals in the second half to stun the home side, 3-2, at Highmark Stadium on Wednesday evening.
It was a former Robert Morris University standout, Devon ‘Speedy’ Williams and former Riverhound Christiano Francois, who led the way in the come-from-behind victory for Miami FC. Williams scored twice, including the game-winner on a penalty kick drawn by Francois in the 81st minute. Francois scored one minute after the Hounds took a 2-0 lead in the 51st minute.
Pittsburgh Soccer Now was there to get post match reaction from Hounds Head Coach Bob Lilley and captain Kenardo Forbes. In addition, John Krysinsky and Jordan Smith shared their thoughts on the Hounds first loss since late June.
