Pitt men’s soccer has started to build their roster ahead of the 2024 spring season, and added a new transfer from Indiana on Monday.
Midfielder Logan Oliver committed to the program, which Pitt announced on Twitter, calling him the “first January addition.” This means that Pitt men’s soccer will announce more players soon, as they look to build their roster ahead of their spring schedule, which will likely start in March.

Oliver spent one season with the Hoosiers in 2023, serving as a member of the squad that finished with a 15-4-5 record (W-L-D) and made it to the Elite Eight. The Hoosiers defeated the Lispcomb Bisons 2-1 in the First Round, both No. 10 Wake Forest 3-2 in the Round of 32 and No. 7 Virginia 1-0 in the Sweet 16 on the road, before falling to in-state rival No. 2 Notre Dame on penalties in the Elite Eight.
Despite having great team success, Oliver didn’t play throughout the 2023 season, serving as a member of the reserve team.
He played for the Philadelphia Union Academy prior to Indiana, with TopDrawerSoccer ranking him as the No. 134 overall recruit, No. 6 from the Pennsylvania Region and No. 49 midfielder in the Class of 2023.

Pitt men’s soccer didn’t have as much success last season as they did in previous years, finishing 6-7-4 overall. They still made it to the NCAA Tournament, their fifth straight appearance, but lost in the First Round to James Madison. The loss ended a streak of three straight Elite Eight appearances and two College Cups during that time for Pitt.
Only one player has transferred out of Pitt so far this offseason, in sophomore defender Abraham Brown, who has left for California-Irvine.
