Pitt men’s soccer announces another rigorous slate with 2025 schedule release

Following a historic 2024 campaign which included a national quarterfinal appearance, reigning ACC Coach of the Year Jay Vidovich released the 2025 schedule for the Pitt men’s soccer program Monday afternoon.

It’s yet another rigorous slate for the Panthers, who are set to face seven teams that finished the 2024 campaign ranked in the top 25 of the final United Soccer Coaches Poll.

Pitt opens the 2025 slate hosting a pair of Big 10 foes in Penn State (Thursday, Aug. 21) and Michigan State (Monday, Aug. 25), before traveling for back-to-back matches at Big East champion Georgetown (Friday, Aug. 29) and ACC foe Clemson (Friday, Sept. 5).

The Panthers then return to Ambrose Urbanic Field for a three-match homestand, playing host to Butler (Monday, Sept. 8), Notre Dame (Friday, Sept. 12) and Incarnate Word (Monday, Sept. 15).

Following a road showdown with Maryland (Friday, Sept. 19), Pitt faces NC State (Friday, Sept. 26) before traveling for consecutive matches at Duke (Friday, Oct. 3) and Stanford (Saturday, Oct. 11).

Three days later, the Panthers open another three-match homestand – hosting national semifinalist Denver (Tuesday, Oct. 14), Syracuse (Saturday, Oct. 18) and reigning ACC champion Wake Forest (Friday, Oct. 24).

Pitt will conclude the 2025 regular season on Friday, Oct. 31, traveling to Louisville.

Pitt’s match times and televised match schedule will be announced at a later date.
