WPIAL Girls Soccer Realignment Projections 2026-2027

Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Sports League (WPIAL — PIAA’s District 7) realignment of classifications for the 2026 and 2027 Fall Sports cycles, including for boys and girls soccer is expected to be reviewed and finalized following the organization’s next Board of Directors’ meeting and subsequently released by late February.

In the meantime, check out the full breakdown below to find Pittsburgh Soccer Now‘s complete realignment per classification projections.

PSN’s projections are based on PIAA’s most updated boys and girls’ enrollment numbers released in late November, the new cycle will see some movement of schools up and down in classifications for 2026 and 2027, while there are also a few schools which may or may not elect to remain in higher classifications.  The sections below also are based out of the previous cycle, but we recognize that in order to accommodate influx of new schools or departures from classification, some of the Sections may need to be reshuffled to accomodate geography and proximety of schools, but that’s can be a challenge for District (WPIAL) officials.

Special thanks to Ed Rosensteel, for his input and feedback as we crafted these projections.
