Steel Valley forward Brooklyn Perhacs put on a masterclass performance, pouring in five goals to power the Ironwomen to an 11-0 victory over Bishop Canevin. Perhacs, an outstanding talent who has quietly anchored a rebuilding Steel Valley program in recent seasons, showed why she belongs in any conversation about the region’s elite finishers as the 2026 campaign gets underway.

5th Annual Moe Rosensteel Memorial Kickoff Classic

Saturday featured the 5th Annual Moe Rosensteel Memorial Kickoff Classic at Ringgold High School, showcasing a four-match slate that included a boys’ matchup—the first boys’ match featured in the event’s history (Ringgold vs. Elizabeth Forward, which the Warriors won, 2-1).
